Water damage to our l/r floor in our vacation mobile home, how much do you think it would cost for a 12×12 roo?
July 25th, 2011 | by admin |Major rain storm that dumped 3 inches in an hour leaked into our mobile home that we use as a vacation place. The living room is 12×15 and we need to know how much do you think that it would cost for the removal of the sub floor, lay new sub floor and lay new carpet. The insurance company needs estimates, but we live 3 1/2 hours away from the property.
call lowes with sq. feet. you will need that in plywood add nails glue double that price .thats a ruff price. but someone would need to see it. to get it any closer.

Price the cost of a new unit, then double that for an estimate to your insurance company. Then ask them to send an adjuster to the unit if they do not like your estimate. The insurance company has estimators to do this work. Make them earn their premiums for once.
