Upgrade the kitchen and bathrooms, you get the most bang for your buck in those rooms.

By adding improvements. Cleaning, painting and gardening all help. One warning, don’t spend too much, the property might get overvalued. Look at the properties around it, it will give you a good indication if yours is better, average or worse than the rest.

As far as i guess,u want to raise the property value for loan purposes.For this,go to an approved valuer appointed by CBDT.Taking into cost,market Value & class of construction,he will be able to get u current value of the property which will invariably be higher than the price at which it was purchased.
