Who would I write to to complain about property taxes in NJ also HIGH HOME PRICING!?

you can write your local government about it but unfortunately you can’t do anything about it and your voice won’t be heard for this issue. land prices don’t change based on people’s opinions…it will change by the way people spend their money as this dictates supply and demand in the market.

Your county determines your real estate taxes. Look on the county website. It will probably tell you how to contest the assessed value of your home.

High home pricing is a different matter. The value of any property is what someone is willing to pay for it. That’s one reason why we have so many people upside down in their mortgages. It’s a matter of supply and demand. There’s not a commission anywhere that sets home prices so there’s nobody to hear your complaints.

in regards to the property taxes, you can write the tax assessment office or the elected repres.

In regards to high home prices – no one. Prices are set by sellers and the market.
