I’m looking for a home rebuild cost estimator for my area in GA for homeowners ins purposes?
March 27th, 2010 | by admin |I am trying to determine what the replacement cost would eb for my home in GA USA. I have a full appraisal of the property completed Dec last year but is this a valid rebuild cost (minus the land value of course)?
Does anyone know of a calculator I can use to determine the value myself.
Well, each company does it just a little bit differently. You can hire a company to do a Boeck replacement cost estimator – but it’s not necessarily "good" with every insurance company.
For example, my house has a garage that is "attached" to the main house, only by the roof, which is over a breezeway. State Farm calls it an attached garage, and rates it accordingly. Liberty Mutual calls it detatched, and doesn’t rate it at all.
YOUR AGENT should be able to calculate it for each company they represent.
In GA, though, very roughly, it’s going to be around $250 per square foot. VERY roughly.
