police came to my parents home when i was being held on suspicion on receiving stolen property.. my parents not knowing what to do granted the search.. the police took 5 laptops.. is their any way i may get those back .. they have nothing to do with the charges they have against me, just a possible connection to the case overall because they linked 1 laptop to me that was stolen, but i buy and refurbish laptops .. i own a website its all legit.. and want my purchased items back.. is that possible???

If the police search a home and it is later determined that they did not have probable cause and the case gets thrown out, do they have to pay for the items/property that they broke during the initial search?

I had police come in my home and say I had stolden property in my home but in collecting it they allowed two none officers in my home when searching my home then allowed then to remove ideas and take with them home they got in to my home because I was on mesdemener propation and My po came but after getting the police in he then left there for it was a po search don’t they have to be preasent for serach ?

You obviously have a criminal history and you need to change your ways. Stop Stealing stuff, get a real job and be productive in society. Nobody cares who removed the stuff that was in your house.

The can and should investigate but they normally cannot get a search warrant merely based on a psychic. In this case, they did not. If no-one is home, they can look around the outside and into windows if the drapes are not drawn. They did find evidence of blood and a foul odor which is sufficient to request a search warrant which would allow a more intense search of the grounds and inside the home. BTW, it is probably not a anonymous tip, they probably know who the person giving the tip is. z

I’m creating a website for my real estate business myself and I don’t have much experience with building sites. How can I create a page were people can submit their properties listing information into to database. and how can I put a search bar in the home page so people search the listings.

You should pay someone to do this for you if you are serious about your business.
If you insist on doing it yourself, try a cms with a property extension, joomla should do the job.
There are several property search components for this system, I quite like Joomla Estate Agency (jea), which is free, although I had to modify it quite a bit to work how I wanted it.

So you install Joomla on your webserver, install the component of your choice then configure it all. You may want to purchase a good commercial template to make the site look professional.

I live in Oklahoma and I left some property that I was supposed to get paid on because the state built a highway on it. I left the state because I went home to care for my mother. It has been since 1995 since I inquired anything about it. My question is . How would I go about looking for the right person to claim this money?

A dear friend of mine is going through a situation, where the city or state where she is from has taken her property and allowed a real-estate or mortgage company to buy it without her consent or knowledge. She is a disabled woman originally from New Orleans Louisiana and she had to relocate to another state due to the tragic circumstances of hurricane Katrina. She desperately wanted to move back to her home but she was unable to travel back and forth from state to state to monitor renovations etc. She had been working tirelessly with her mortgage company at the time to help her, she heard about so many other home owners whose mortgage company’s gave forgiveness debts to or at least worked with the owners due to the drastic nature of their situations. The mortgage company would not comply. She searched for trustworthy contractors and other workers who would help rebuild while she was away and she was successful. Unfortunately this is when she found out her home had been sold to someone else. She is very devastated at the whole ordeal she has been through enough already. Although she wants to move back, she now feels there is nothing she can do but continue living where she is now. I know this is because she is unaware of what legal measures and she can take. If the home is already sold to a resident is it too late to get it back? How is this possible, shouldn’t this be a special case due to a catastrophic disaster? Can someone with knowledge about this subject please help. Thanks in Advance

Due process which everyone in the US (except presumably for undocumented aliens) is entitled to have, would require proper notice and the right to be heard on such issues. Your friend needs to contact legal assistance, a law school legal clinic or pro bono lawyer for assistance. Your description of events may constitute special circumstances for relief. But your friend needs to talk with a lawyer.

With the housing market forcing home prices down I have been aggressively investing in real estate but with the amount of leads I’m working with I don’t have the time to manually lookup public property records at a courthouse. How do I easily search public property records to find the owner information, value of the house, tax liens and other information I need to make a decision on whether the property is a good investment or not? Sounds like you’re doing things the "old way". I remember I use to do all my lookups manually and in-person while sitting around wating for clerks to bring me paperwork when I could be out canvassing properties. You can lookup public property records online quite easily nowaways by tapping into online database websites. Just a warning, no public property records website that claims it gives free property reports is providing anything without a catch. It’s usually too good to be true. For a small subscription fee you can get an "all access pass" that will allow unlimited public property searches for a given amount of time (6 months, year, etc). Get with the times and take your search online.
